Nature Air is the provider for air travel to Tortuguero. They fly into Tortuguero from Pavas Airport
near San Jose.
The schedule depends on how busy the season is. They typically fly in and out once per day in the
morning. And sometimes more during busy times. You should make reservation in advance if
possible. If you are already in Tortuguero and decide to fly out, the Guides Association can sell
you tickets.

The airfield is about a 10 minute boat ride from Tortuguero
Village. There will be boats waiting to take you to town

The air tower itself is abandoned, so the pilots handle all
the ticket gathering and check in when they arrive.
Coming into Tortuguero the left side of the plane has the
best view of the village and the canals. While leaving
Tortuguero it is the right side with the birds eye view of all
the awesome places you just visited.
